Let’s Start A Revolution (2022–present)
Let's Start A Revolution (2022-present) is a series of paintings and objects that confront some of the most pressing social, political, and economic conditions of the 2020s — from systemic inequality and environmental crisis to power, control, and global injustice.
As Stéphane Hessel wrote, “To create is to resist, to resist is to create,” echoing Karl Marx’s assertion that “Things do not have to be the way they are.” This series builds on that premise, treating art not as passive reflection, but as an active engagement with the structures that shape contemporary life.
Each work isolates a specific issue, translating it into a visual form that exposes its underlying logic and invites critical reflection. Some works remain observational; others move toward direct confrontation. The intention is not only to reveal these conditions, but to challenge the viewer’s position within them.
